gifts
The gift problem is sameness. Our answer is one object: a handbag knitted by hand from fine brass wire — unusual enough to be remembered, useful enough to be carried weekly, under £100. Each one is made to order, so check the timing note below for fixed dates.

Is a wire mesh bag a good gift?
It hits the three marks a memorable gift needs: unusual (most people have never been given a bag knitted from metal), personal without needing sizes (a bag fits everyone), and used weekly rather than shelved. At under £100 handmade, it sits in serious-gift territory without luxury-logo pricing.
When do I need to order a made-to-order gift?
Each bag is made after you order it and dispatched within 14 days, with transit on top — so for a fixed date, order at least three weeks ahead for the UK and a week more for international. The product page shows the current dispatch estimate.
What if the gift isn't right?
There's a 14-day return window from delivery — unused, original condition — and UK returns are free. A gift that misses can go back; in practice the more common outcome is the giver ordering a second one for themselves.
The bag itself: Tonsiba, £95 — also filed under handmade bags and mesh bags.
